The port of Hobart has a rich history of trading that
is preserved in its former waterfront warehouses some of which are now
converted into the shops galleries and restaurants that make up Salamanca
Place. From there you can access the delightful residential area of
Battery Point. Tour by bus to take in the Cascade Brewery operating
since 1824 and other historic sites such a the Female Factory. A cruise
to Peppermint Bay for fabulous coastal scenery and a delicious lunch
